Welcome to Doc Outside. I am Dr. Brad Hatch,
Thinking and living “outside” is about being off your phone, out of your “safe space”, escaping the echo chambers, and seeking the adventure of connecting with people and the world.
The hope of our world is in mothers and fathers who are free to bring up their children to be brave and kind and seekers of truth, free to teach philosophy, theology and science, and free to live and speak their beliefs. Good families create happy children, and helping families flourish should be the greatest endeavor and focused effort of government and society.
More about me:
I am an Air Force trained MD and pediatrician, and have been practicing and studying medicine and healthcare since 1990. I was also trained in military medicine, including combat emergencies, disaster relief, pandemic preparedness, and bio-chemical-nuclear contingency. I loved serving my country, but I am now a veteran and happily practicing with a fabulous, selfless group of pediatricians, advanced practitioners, and an amazing support staff.
I lost my lover to an agonizing death from cancer. She was the coolest mom and wife. We have seven children who answering their calls to adventure.
